Sue Cowell has been coaching juniors since 1999. She has donated her Friday afternoons for many years looking after juniors of all ages in a group session for the Marmion Squash Club and continues to do so.

Sue commenced coaching at Marmion in 1999, when the centre closed in 2002 the whole club moved to Scarborough Squash Club where they remained for 3 years until the centre closed.  From there they went to Mirrabooka for 1 year, then North Beach for 1 year and then to Wangara their current home.  Sue has worked tirelessly to keep the junior club together throughout all these moves.

Sue expanded her interested in Juniors becoming involved with the State Junior Team from 2005 -2007, 2009, 2012 and 2013 where she has been called upon to help coach several juniors due to her experience.

Sue has been a member of PSCAA since 1999 and was appointed treasurer of the PSCAA (WA) in 2010.

Her interest and dedication to juniors, in firstly exposing them to squash and then developing their skills, should be commended.

A well-deserved recipient of the 2013 Coach of the Year

Congratulations Sue Cowell.
